i came. i saw. i conquered!

my iDs have finally arrived :D

rewind to february: i get invited to Sneakerplay: an innovative social network designed specifically for the global sneaker culture. basically meet more sneakerheads and drool over the latest releases. then in march i enter this contest to win your own nike iDs. the list of 1000s of entries was reduced to a list of 100 and there was this shoe on it that looked JUST like mines so after a little argumentation and research (i actually sat and went through 1000 pages of sneakers to prove my design was first [a free pair of premium $275 kicks? yes it IS that serious]) my design got put on the list and his was removed because mines was the first design created. i felt so bad and so good at the same time. anyways the list got further reduced to the top 5 designs aka the winners and i got 4th place. some people say it was because i kissed ass but the design is an ode to the site for having the contest in the first place so they can kiss my ass as i kiss my iDs.
